Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is gunning for his first NASCAR victory after winning the pole.


Stenhouse beat out Roush Fenway Racing teammate Carl Edwards with a lap of 189.688 mph. Two NASCAR rookies have lead the field in 2013, with Danica Patrick earning the pole at Daytona.
Kevin Harvick, who will start toward the back in 30th place, won Saturday night’s NASCAR Nationwide race, edging out a victory over Kyle Busch.
