Danica Patrick among top All-Star Race vote-getters; Dogecoin rallies for Josh Wise

Danica Patrick is the favorite to win the Sprint All-Star Race fan vote, but Dogecoin is rallying support for Josh Wise with an inspiring video montage.

NASCAR fans will have the opportunity to vote a driver into the Sprint All-Star Race, to be held Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Danica Patrick, who to the surprise of no one, won the fan vote a year ago, is again among the top 10 vote-getters in a list released Monday. The remainder of the top 10 (in alphabetical order): AJ Allmendinger, Aric Almirola, Marcos Ambrose, Clint Bowyer, Austin Dillon, Kyle Larson, Casey Mears, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Josh Wise.

The contest runs until 7 p.m. ET Friday and will be announced at the conclusion of that same night’s Sprint Showdown, which sees the top two finishers advance to the All-Star Race.

Although Patrick is expected to collect the most votes for a second consecutive year, Wise has emerged as a dark horse candidate.

Wise has a significant following in the Reddit social media community, which through Dogecoin sponsored him at Talladega. That support has rallied together and produced an epic montage video in an effort to get Wise enough votes to compete in the All-Star Race.

So while Patrick may be the favorite, what she does not have is a video campaign like this:
