The best of the best will be on the track this weekend at the Sprint Cup All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

NASCAR officials have changed up the schedule a bit this year. The Sprint Showdown will be moved to Friday before the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200. The Showdown will be televised at 7 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1. Two drivers not already in the race will qualify through the Sprint Showdown and a final driver through the fan vote.

For racing fans, it will be a fun night to watch some of the sport’s biggest stars compete for bragging rights. The drivers who have already qualified for the race include Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, David Ragan, Tony Stewart, Greg Biffle, Martin Truex Jr., Brian Vickers, Ryan Newman, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Jamie McMurray, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kurt Busch.

The All-Star festivities continue 7 p.m. Saturday on FOX Sports 1. Once the final field of all-stars is set, there will be a three-run qualifying race around the track which includes a mandatory pit stop. There’s no speed limit on pit row, so things could get wild. Then will come the All-Star Race at 9 p.m.
