Hendrick Motorsports didn’t change its name to Super Friends but maybe it should have, as the NASCAR organization signed a three-year deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment.
Hendrick Motorsports joins forces with Batman, Superman
Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Kasey Kahne are set to become the next superheroes for DC Comics.

The agreement announced Thursday will include special paint schemes as well as the possibility for comic books and digital content featuring the likenesses of Hendrick drivers with DC Comics array of superheroes.
So don’t be surprised if Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Kasey Kahne show up to the track dressed as Batman, Green Lantern, Flash or Superman anytime soon. The drivers have already changed their Twitter avatars to look like superheroes.
Earnhardt will run a special Superman paint scheme May 25 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and June 15 at Michigan International Speedway, which will be unveiled May 21. In the previous two years, Earnhardt has run a Batman and Superman paint scheme at the June Michigan race, both of which were best-sellers.
