NASCAR at Phoenix International Raceway weather forecast: Clouds increase and gets cooler

Will a system moving into Arizona bring rain for the Sprint Cup race on Sunday?

Going to keep the weather forecast dry for Phoenix International Raceway this weekend. A weak system starts to move in from the southwest Saturday night into Sunday. While there is a small chance of a shower or sprinkle Saturday night into Sunday, I am still keeping the weekend mostly dry.

A lot of the data has this system mostly to the south and southeast of Phoenix. There could be a passing shower early Sunday morning, but I don’t anticipate any real problem from rain on Sunday for the Sprint Cup race. Will keep an eye on it and monitor radar through the day.
