2015 NASCAR at Dover International Speedway weather forecast: Chance of weekend rain

The weather forecast continues to improve for NASCAR at Dover International Speedway

All week the weather forecast was showing chance of showers Sunday at Dover International Speedway but that forecast has greatly improved over the last couple of days. Saturday will feature a mix of sunshine and clouds, nice warm temperatures and a slight breeze out of the south.

A cold front slowly approaches Sunday afternoon. It appears that NASCAR should be able to get most if not all the race in during the day but there is a chance of showers and storms during the race. Overall I’d give the odds of racing Sunday between 75 to 80 percent. I think rain timing is in NASCAR’s favor but I can’t completely rule out a shower or two during the afternoon.
