NASCAR at Chicagoland Speedway 2015 race day weather: Lots of sunshine

It looks like the weather will be nice for the start of the 2015 Chase for the Sprint Cup.

The race weekend started with rain showers on Friday that postponed the Camping World Truck series race from Friday night until Saturday morning. Thankfully, Friday’s rain was the exception rather than the rule when it came to the weather around Chicagoland Speedway this weekend.

Saturday wasn’t perfect, but it was dry and windy. Sunday will be very nice for the Sprint Cup race, with sun and light winds. We couldn’t ask for better weather to start the 2015 Chase for the Sprint Cup.
