NASCAR Charlotte 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Bank of America 500 online

What you need to know for today’s rescheduled NASCAR race at Charlotte.

After a one day postponement due to Hurricane Matthew, Charlotte Motor Speedway’s annual October race is expected to go off without further delay Sunday afternoon. The Bank of America 500 is the first race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup quarterfinal round, where 12 drivers will compete to earn one of eight spots in the next bracket of NASCAR’s playoffs.

Start time: The rescheduled race will go green at 12:05 p.m. ET. Originally, the race was slated to run Saturday night, but rain emitting from Hurricane Matthew forced NASCAR to push the event back a day.

Distance: The Bank of America 500 is 334 laps (501 miles) around Charlotte’s 1.5-mile quad oval.

National anthem: Country music singer-songwriter Danielle Peck will perform “The Star Spangled Banner.”

TV/Radio/Stream coverage: NBC will televise the Round 2 playoff race with its coverage beginning at noon ET, with prerace coverage found on NBCSN starting at 11 a.m. ET. A stream of the race is provided at NBCSports.com. The Performance Racing Network will handle the radio broadcast, with SiriusXM NASCAR simulcasting PRN’s coverage. You can listen online to PRN’s broadcast at GoPRN.com.

Defending race winner: Joey Logano won this race a year ago, the first of what would be a three-race quarterfinal sweep for the Team Penske driver.
