We know that rookie Chase Elliott and Matt Kenseth will occupy the first row on Sunday to start the 2016 Daytona 500, but we don’t know the order of the other drivers behind them just yet. That will be determined with the 2016 Can-Am Duel on Thursday night from Daytona International Speedway.

The two races, each 60 laps and 150 miles, will determine the next 30 positions for Sunday’s Daytona 500, with the top 15 finishers in each race earning the coveted spots behind Elliott and Kenseth, who earned their spots thanks to qualifying last Sunday.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. has won the Can-Am Duel four times, including in 2015, when he and Jimmie Johnson won the two 150-mile races.
Fox Sports 1 will televise the qualifying beginning at 7 p.m. ET, with play-by-play announcer Mike Joy alongside analysts Darrell Waltrip and Larry McReynolds. Pre-race coverage starts at 5 p.m. with NASCAR Raceday, with hosts John Roberts and Danielle Trotta; analysts Larry McReynolds, Andy Petree and Wally Dallenbach; and reporters Jamie Little, Kaitlyn Vincie and Kenny Wallace.
The Can-Am Duel 150s will be replayed on Fox Sports 1 on Friday at 3 a.m. and Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET. Online coverage can be seen using Fox Sports Go.
