When it comes to the weather forecast for the 58th running of the “Great American Race,” the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway, you can’t ask for better weather. Over the last four years, weather has been wet and at times scary for Daytona International Speedway. We’ve had severe storms and a Monday night race, but not this year.
2016 Daytona 500 race day weather forecast: Doesn’t get much better than this
Unfavorable weather has been the trend the last couple of years for the Daytona 500 but we are starting the 2016 Sprint Cup season nice and dry.

Forecast for Sunday has mostly sunny skies with a generally light, easterly wind. Temperatures during the race will remain mostly in the low to almost mid-70s. Great weather for NASCAR’s biggest race.
