Florida in July equals afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Rain caused problems for NASCAR on Thursday but ended in time for the NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying and Xfinity race. Saturday for the Sprint Cup Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway we will see similar weather that we saw on Friday.
NASCAR July Daytona Race Day Weather: Chance of Evening Storms
It’s Florida in July and that usually means pop up showers and t’storms. Rain caused problems on Thursday for NASCAR but will it rain on NASCAR’s parade Saturday night?

Showers and thunderstorms are once again possible during the afternoon. They will be scattered to isolated in nature, but it could rain over the track during the afternoon. Showers and storms will begin to diminish around 7 to 9 p.m. ET. Odds of racing the Coke Zero 400 is around 80 to 90 percent but with possible delays.
