NASCAR Richmond 2016: Live stream, start time, TV schedule for Federated Auto Parts 400

What you need to know for tonight’s NASCAR race at Richmond.

The Sprint Cup Series wraps up its regular season with the Federated Auto Parts 400 Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway. While 12 spots in NASCAR’s playoffs have already been claimed, four berths are left to be decided in the 26th race of the year. The Chase for the Sprint Cup begins next week at Chicagoland Speedway.

Start time: The command for drivers to start their engines is set for 7:37 p.m. ET, with the green flag to wave at 7:44 p.m. ET.

Distance: The scheduled distance calls for 400 laps (300 miles) around the three-quarter mile track.

National anthem: The U.S. National Marine Corps Band will perform the “The Star Spangled Banner.”

TV/Radio/Stream coverage: NBCSN will broadcast the race with its coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. The network will also provide a stream at NBCSports.com. Motor Racing Network will handle the radio broadcast, with SiriusXM NASCAR simulcasting MRN’s coverage.

Defending race winner: A dominant Matt Kenseth led 352 of 400 laps to win for the second time at Richmond.
