Things got a little too real during a NASCAR parade in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday.

As part of a promotion for this weekend’s NASCAR races at Charlotte Motor Speedway, NASCAR had a parade Tuesday afternoon in Charlotte, N.C., that included actual stock cars driving around.

Not everyone, however, was mindful of the parade. This was evident when a pedestrian motorist driving a Toyota SUV clipped and drove over the left-rear fender of a stock car that was pulling into traffic. There were no injuries in the accident, but the driver of the SUV was issued a citation by police, according to one report.
