NASCAR Playoffs at Phoenix: Warmth with sunshine for a desert race day

Sunshine, some clouds, but warm for NASCAR’s second to last race of the season. Weather will not get in the way of a championship

The 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season is almost done. With just one more race left before the championship race at Homestead-Miami there couldn’t be more on the line for the drivers wanting a spot at a chance to win a championships. The last thing any of these drivers need is something to spoil it all. The good news, with all that could go wrong, weather will not be one of them.

More clouds are likely Sunday for the Can-Am 500 NASCAR Monster Energy race at Phoenix International Speedway but the sun will also be sunshine. While there there are more clouds, temperatures will still be as warm as they have been all weekend in the middle 80s. Winds will also be light so a picture race day in the desert.

Odds of racing the Can-Am 500 at Phoenix International Speedway is 100 percent.
