Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will serve as a guest analyst in Fox Sports 1’s coverage of the 2017 NASCAR Clash at Daytona on Saturday night, the 75-lap exhibition race to kick off the NASCAR season live from Daytona International Speedway in Florida.

The Fox Sports 1 telecast begins at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday and can be streamed online via Fox Sports Go.

Earnhardt missed the second half of the 2016 season with a concussion and is slated to return to action in the 88 car for the Duel at Daytona in two weeks. But for now, he will be a part of the Fox Sports telecast this weekend, his second event for the network.

He is a two-time winner of the Clash at Daytona, victorious in 2003 and 2008, and has won the prestigious Daytona 500 in both 2004 and 2014.

“I’m looking forward to getting back into the Fox Sports booth for the Clash,” Earnhardt said earlier in February. “I had a great experience last year and am sure it will be just as enjoyable this time around. It’s a fun challenge for me.”

Earnhardt will be an analyst in the booth on Saturday night alongside Jeff Gordon, Darrell Waltrip, and play-by-play man Mike Joy.

Denny Hamlin won the Clash at Daytona in 2016, then followed that up by winning the Daytona 500. Hamlin is a three-time Clash winner, having also won in 2006 and 2014.
