What’s old is new again at Daytona — again.
2017 Daytona 500: Jeffrey Earnhardt makes Daytona debut
The grandson of Dale Sr. is looking to become the next famous member of his family.

Jeffrey Earnhardt, the grandson of Dale Sr. and nephew of Dale Jr., is getting his shot to race in the Daytona 500 and add to a family legacy as famous as the track itself.
The 27-year-old out of the NASCAR Cup Series will make his Daytona debut as long as he performs well in the Can-Am Duels, but it’s looking more and more like the Earnhardt name won’t be leaving racing fans lexicon anytime soon.
Jeffrey watched closely while both Dale and Junior won the 500 during their careers. Now he gets a chance to become the third in his family to win NASCAR’s biggest race.
“As a kid seeing how many times my grandfather competed here time and time again trying to win the Daytona 500 and now to be able to participate in it and get my go at trying to win one it’s something you dream of as a kid”. Earnhardt told reporters in Florida.
