2011 NBA Draft Results: Norris Cole Drafted For Heat With No. 28 Pick

With the No. 28 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls selected Cleveland State point guard Norris Cole for the Miami Heat as a part of the convoluted Nikola Mirotic trade.

Cole is an athletic guard who averaged 20 points, five rebounds and five assists a game at Cleveland State. The Heat reportedly wanted Boston College guard Reggie Jackson, but the Oklahoma City Thunder picked him up at No. 24. Miami then traded up for Cole, apparently offering the No. 31 pick and an extra second-rounder for Minnesota.
