2011 NBA Draft Results: Cory Joseph Drafted By Spurs With No. 29 Pick

With the No. 29 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs selected Texas point guard Cory Joseph.

Joseph was not projected to go in the first round in many mock drafts; in fact, DraftExpress recently had Joseph falling to the very last pick in the draft, the Sacramento Kings' No. 60 pick. That Joseph went just three picks after Texas teammate Jordan Hamilton, considered a lottery pick by many, is nothing short of shocking.

The Spurs traded George Hill for Kawhi Leonard earlier on Thursday.
