2011 NBA Draft Results: Bogan Bogdanovic, Kyle Singler Go Early In Second Round

The second round of the 2011 NBA Draft began with a player who could very well never play in the NBA.

Bogan Bogdanovic went to the New Jersey Nets at No. 31. The pick belonged to the Miami Heat, but was moved to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the trade for Norris Cole that also involved Nikola Mirotic, Donatas Motiejunas and Nicolas Sarkozy. (Not really.) The Wolves reportedly sold No. 31 for cash. Bogdanovic may not ever come to the NBA.

Justin Harper, a stretch power forward from Richmond, went to the Cleveland Cavaliers at No. 32.

Kyle Singler, the Most Oustanding Player in the 2009 NCAA Final Four for Duke, went to the Detroit Pistons at No. 33. Blue Devil teammates Kyrie Irving (No. 1) and Nolan Smith (No. 21) went in the first round.

The Washington Wizards took Butler point guard Shelvin Mack at No. 34.

The Sacramento Kings followed up with UCLA wing Tyler Honeycutt, who was projected to go in the first round by many.
