J.R. Smith came off the bench to lead the way for the Nuggets in the first half with 14 points. Carmelo Anthony added eight points, two rebounds and two assists. After grabbing six rebounds in the first quarter, Nene only tallied one in the second, bringing his total to a team-high seven boards.
