Heat Vs. Nuggets: Denver Running Miami Off The Court After Three Quarters

So this is what the Miami Heat look like without LeBron James. After three quarters in Denver, the Nuggets are running the Heat out of the gym and hold a 98-68 lead. Carmelo Anthony came alive in the third, scoring 13 points as the Nuggets widened their lead coming out of the half. Chauncey Billups is directing traffic for the Nuggets and distributing well, dishing-out a team-high 13 assists through three quarters.

Without LeBron, the Heat have been forced to rely on Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The two combined for 40 of the Heat’s 69 points, but have gotten little in the way of help from the rest of their teammates. Carlos Arroyo is the only other Miami player in double-figures with 10 points. Bosh and Eric Dampier each lead the Heat with six rebounds thus far.

Down 30 entering the fourth quarter, it looks all but over. The LeBron-less Heat trail the Nuggets, 98-68.
