The Miami Heat are probably happy to have Chris Bosh back. But they must be overjoyed to have Dwyane Wade starting again.
Heat Vs. Thunder: Dwyane Wade’s Drives Keeping Miami On Top
Wade went off again in the third quarter, and now leads all scorers with 27 points midway through the fourth. He has eight turnovers and only four free throw attempts, but good shooting and better driving have conspired to give him a very good day from the floor, with 12 field goals and only six misses.
Wade’s also part of the reason Kevin Durant has had a poor shooting day. The Thunder star is five of 15 from the field, and has been forced to do much of his damage from the line rather than with his sweet shooting stroke. Durant is 12 of 14 from the charity stripe, but has only 24 points on the day.
Bosh has been adequate as a shooter in his return, with 15 points, but he’s been nearly invisible as a rebounder. He has just four rebounds; both Wade and Mike Miller have more.
LeBron James has settled into a role as a creator with Wade and Bosh back to share the scoring load. He has 22 points and 11 assists.
