Cavaliers Vs. Heat: LeBron James, Miami Drop Another Loss On Cleveland

LeBron James had 24 points and eight assists, Dwyane Wade scored 34 and the Miami Heat beat about the Cleveland Cavaliers for the third time this season, this one with a 117-90 result. Antawn Jamison scored 21 for the Cavs, and Manny Harris added 20.

Most striking about Cleveland at this point -- besides the 21-game losing streak, that is -- is how unrecognizable the rotation has become. J.J. Hickson is the only current Cavs starter that LeBron played with much. He got a few months with Jamison, but Harris? Christian Eyenga? Ramon Sessions? This isn't just a team missing LeBron. At this point, due to injury, it's a whole new, worse team.

Cleveland shot just 40 percent from the floor, down from their league-worst 42.4 percent. The Cavaliers have the dubious distinction of the league’s worst offense and defense, a rarity even in the annals of the NBA’s most embarrassing teams.

But enough of all that. The Heat played! Joyous occasion! Mike Miller continues his weird transformation into a Princeton offense big man, with 11 rebounds off the bench. Eddie House followed his game-saving Sunday performance by taking a game-high six three-pointers (calm down, bro), and Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 14 rebounds against, don't forget, his old team.

Mercifully, the Cavs have just one more game against the Heat this season. It will be in Cleveland in late March, and it will be unwatchable.
