The Chicago Bulls take a 58-51 lead over the San Antonio Spurs into halftime at the United Center, largely thanks to an All-Star night by Derrick Rose. The Bulls guard has 21 points on only 12 shots from the floor, plus four assists. That makes him responsible for more than half of Chicago’s score, in one way or another.
Spurs Vs. Bulls Score: Derrick Rose Show Continues In Chicago
Carlos Boozer has added 10 points, and Kurt Thomas is up to seven rebounds. The Bulls are shooting just over 58 percent through the first half, and are winning the battle on the boards. You’d think they’d be winning by a bigger margin, considering San Antonio has shot under 50 percent, but Chicago has turned the ball over seven times.
Impressively, Rose has yet to turn the ball over.
Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili are San Antonio’s high scorers, with 15 and 12 respectively. Tim Duncan hasn’t made much of a presence, playing only 13 minutes so far.
