Blake Griffin was ready to take on the excellent Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, but his L.A. Clippers' teammates couldn't get much going as the Bulls pulled off a 106-88 win in the Clips' final home game until Feb. 26. Griffin scored 32 points 14-26 shooting and added a game-high 13 rebounds and a team-high seven assists. Blake wasn't perfect -- he hit just four of 13 free throws, dropping his season average to 61 percent from the line.
Bulls Vs. Clippers: Blake Griffin Up To The Challenge, But Teammates Go Missing Against Chicago
Derrick Rose was a star for Chicago, scoring 32 of his own to go with 11 assists and just two turnovers. Luol Deng presented 26 points on 9-17 shooting, and Carlos Boozer had 16 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes. The Bulls evened their record with that of the Miami Heat for No. 2 in the East; the trailers are just three games behind the Boston Celtics for No. 1, and lead the No. 4 Orlando Magic by 3-1/2 games.
Griffin was as dunk-y as you'd expect, crushing a 25-foot alley-oop from Randy Foye, leaving Kyle Korver with a bruised ego, some sweat drippings and a new poster.
