Two of the better three-point shooting teams in the NBA aren’t disappointing during the first half of tonight’s game as the Magic and the Knicks have combined to make 17-31 attempts from beyond the arc. Chauncey Billups scored 15 first half points. Carmelo Anthony added 14 points for the Knicks who shot 50% in the first half. Toney Douglas gave the Knicks a spark with 10 points off the bench.

Dwight Howard scored 14 points to lead the Magic. Jameer Nelson added 12 while Hedo Turkoglu recorded 10 points and a team high nine rebounds in the first half. Nelson connected on 4-5 attempts from three-point range.
The Magic have led most of this game before the Knicks closed the half on a run. Carmelo Anthony scored seven points over the final three minutes of the second quarter helping the Knicks build a seven point lead before Jameer Nelson buried a thirty foot bomb with just two seconds remaining in the half.
