Warriors Vs. Thunder: Kevin Durant Outduels Stephen Curry, Oklahoma City Survives In Overtime

The Oklahoma City Thunder needed overtime to beat the Golden State Warriors, but it still counts as a win. Kevin Durant scored 39 points, including eight in overtime, to lead the Thunder to a 115-114 victory. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 35 points, but the second-year guard went scoreless in overtime.

Each team's co-star had rough nights. Monta Ellis scored 20, but needed 30 field goal attempts to get there. While he did supplement that with 11 assists and just one turnover, he shot just 1-4 in overtime. Russell Westbrook, meanwhile, scored 15 points on 4-15 shooting. He added nine assists, eight rebounds but six turnovers. Oklahoma City committed 19 turnovers in total, something that helped Golden State (who committed just 13) stay in the game.

Ellis could have won it in regulation, but his shot was off the mark. David Lee played exceedingly well, with 24 points on 11-17 shooting and 15 rebounds. He grabbed six of Golden State's eight offensive rebounds. Rookie center Ekpe Udoh was solid but unspectacular with 12 and six.
