Tony Parker has six early points but the San Antonio Spurs find themselves tied 17-17 with the Memphis Grizzlies after one quarter of play. Game 2 has picked up right where Game 1 left off as both teams are employing a physical and grinding brand of basketball.
Grizzlies Vs. Spurs Score: Manu Ginobli Returns, Memphis And San Antonio Tied After One
Manu Ginobli made his return to the San Antonio lineup and has proceeded to throw his body all over the court despite having an injured elbow Ginobli only has two points and missed all of his field goal attempts but does have four rebounds. Tim Duncan has four points as well for San Antonio.
The Spurs have made a habit of leaving Memphis guard Tony Allen open for jump shots in the early going. Allen has connected on three of them and is leading the Grizzlies with six early points. Zach Randolph and Sam Young each have four. Marc Gasol failed to score in the first but grabbed a game high five rebounds.
