It’s the Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum show in New Orleans and the Hornets have been powerless to stop them. Thanks to a strong first half from each, the Lakers hold a 51-42 halftime lead over the Hornets, sitting firmly in control of Game 3. Bryant and Bynum combined for 29 first half points and the Hornets have struggled to find an answer, with Chris Paul providing the only offensive threat thus far.

Bryant led the way with 15 points in the first half, followed closely by Bynum’s 14 points. Bynum was also a force on the glass, grabbing a team-high nine rebounds over the first 24 minutes.
Chris Paul has 18 points to lead all scorers, but hasn’t had any help from his team. Trevor Ariza has eight points, with Carl Landry and Emeka Okafor adding five points each. Ariza also has a team-high four rebounds.
