Derrick Rose looks like the NBA MVP so far tonight for the Chicago Bulls, as his nine points and four assists have his team ahead by a score of 32-21 after the first quarter of Game 5 at the Madhouse On Madison. Luol Deng is looking good offensively as well, and he's got 11 points on 4-5 shooting from the field, as well as 3-3 free throw shooting.
Hawks Vs. Bulls Score, Game 5: Chicago Leads; Derrick Rose Playing Well
Josh Smith got off to a very good start in the first quarter for the Hawks, but his two personal fouls took him out of the game after eight minutes. Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah haven't been good offensively, but they're making up for it by outworking the Hawks forwards on the boards. Jason Collins has been ineffective so far, while Al Horford has been downright poor. The Hawks' All-Star has missed a couple of easy opportunities, been seriously outworked on the defensive boards, and his net points is currently a stunning -11, the worst among all players by a mile. Keith Bogans, on the other hand, is stunning in the positive sense, notching a +15 and nailing two three-point shots.
