The Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls are engaged in a close game after three quarters, and it's the point guards who are putting on the biggest show so far. Both Derrick Rose and Jeff Teague brought their A games in the third, going blow for blow and keeping their game extremely close, setting up a potentially great fourth quarter. The Bulls lead by a score of 69-68, as the Hawks hang with them possession for possession at the United Center.
Hawks Vs. Bulls Score, Game 5: Jeff Teague, Derrick Rose Engage In Third Quarter Battle
Teague has 16 points and six assists, while Rose has 22 points and six assists. Carlos Boozer has continued to have an impact on the boards, but his most memorable incident of the quarter was a scuffle with Josh Smith. After Smith scored on a dunk, Boozer pushed Smith in the face. Smith responded by pushing Boozer in the back, causing the Bulls' power forward to spit out some expletives. Noticing the situation was about to get out of hand, Luol Deng restrained Boozer, but was not able to prevent the ensuing double technicals.
