Lakers Vs. Mavericks Final Score: Dallas Bounces L.A. From Playoffs With 122-86 Victory

The Dallas Mavericks swept the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers from the 2011 NBA Playoffs with a 122-86 victory on Sunday afternoon. Jason Terry and the Mavs tied a couple of playoff records in the victory. Terry sank nine free throws and the Mavs made 20 as a team.

This game was definitely Jason Terry's to own. He led the team with 32 points, but he also had help from his fellow reserves. Peja Stojakovic connected on six treys on his way to 21 points, and Jose Barea added 22 points and dished the ball out for eight assists. Dirk Nowitzki was the only Mavericks starter to score in double digits (12 points).

Barea was on the nasty end of a flagrant elbow by Andrew Bynum in the quarter. Bynum and Lamar Odom were both ejected in the fourth quarter, the former for the elbow and the latter for a flagrant foul on Nowitzki.

While the Mavericks shot 60.3 percent from the field, the Lakers struggled to make 37.8 percent of their shots. Kobe Bryant led the team with 17 points, but it was not a good effort at all by the Lakers in what is now Phil Jackson's final game as a head coach.

The Mavericks will play the winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder-Memphis Grizzlies series. Memphis leads, 2-1.
