Dwane Casey, who tragically lost a 'y' at birth, was introduced as the new head coach of the Toronto Raptors at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. Before joining the Raptors, Casey was a head coach with the Minnesota Timberwolves where he achieved moderate success considering the talent at his disposal before he was fired for...who knows what reason. He then became an assistant coach under Rick Carlisle, where he was part of this year's NBA championship winning Dallas Mavericks team. Said general manager Bryan Colangolo, about the hiring:

Afterwards, Casey sat down with Raptors.com writer Mike Ulmer, where he was asked a series of amusing questions that had little to nothing to do with his basketball coaching philosophies or his plans for the Toronto Raptors. Instead, we got an awesome story about coaching legend Eddie Sutton.
One night we were driving, recruiting somewhere. I was with James Dickey who is now the head coach at Houston. We were on these back roads and Coach Sutton was in the back seat. All of a sudden he yelled out:“Do you know how hard it is to kill a turkey?” Absolutely out of nowhere. He was thinking about hunting. I never forget we lost a close game so he told the guys to get their shoes on and go back and practice. This was about 10:00-10:30 at night but instead of practicing we got hamburgers and pizza and guys shot free throws and we watched a video instead of practicing.
I have absolutely no idea how hard it is to kill a turkey.
