The Philadelphia 76ers have discussed a trade that would send wing Andre Iguodala to the Los Angeles Clippers for center Chris Kaman, reports ESPN's Marc Stein. Recent rumors have tied Iguodala to the Golden State Warriors, who have reportedly made guard Monta Ellis available. Stein reports that the Clippers and Sixers have talked about such a deal, but that it's not progressed beyond discussions.
Andre Iguodala Trade Rumor Involves Wing Headed To Clippers, Sixers Getting Chris Kaman
Iguodala is due $44 million over the next three seasons, and is considered among the best wing defenders in the NBA. Kaman, a one-time All-Star who has suffered a parade of injuries in recent years, is due $12.7 million the 2011-12, the final season of his contract with the Clippers. L.A. has DeAndre Jordan slated at center; though the young big man will hit restricted free agency this offseason, he's expected to stay with the Clippers. If this trade were to happen, Kaman would be reunited with his former Clippers co-star Elton Brand.
