Bulls vs. Pistons 2012 results: Noah’s 30 points and 23 rebounds lift Chicago

The Chicago Bulls trailed by double figures in the first half, but came back to defeat the Detroit Pistons on the road Friday.

The Chicago Bulls fell behind the Detroit Pistons by as many as 11 points in the first half Friday, but used a strong third quarter to take the lead and pulled away late for a 108-104 win.

The Bulls were lead by center Joakim Noah, who had 30 points, 23 rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. Detroit's inability to keep him off the offensive glass -- Noah grabbed 10 of Chicago's 13 offensive rebounds -- helped the Bulls overcome hot shooting by the Pistons.

Detroit connected on 51 percent of its shots and 54 percent of its three-point attempts. Rodney Stuckey and Charlie Villanueva combined for 39 points off the bench. Stuckey also had seven assists. Starting guard Brandon Knight also scored 21 points.

Carlos Boozer scored 24 points for Chicago, Luol Deng had 16 points and six assists, and Marco Belinelli had 16 points. Kirk Hinrich scored 13, putting all five Chicago starters in double figures.

The Bulls improved to 10-8 with the win. Detroit is now 6-15.
