It wasn't pretty, but the Philadelphia 76ers pulled out a 95-94 overtime victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday night in a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference semifinal matchup. Evan Turner had a monster game for Philly (11-8), leading the team with 26 points while chipping in with 10 rebounds and five assists.

Rajon Rondo had a triple-double of 16 assists, 14 assists and 13 rebounds for the Celtics (10-9). Paul Pierce led all scorers with 27 points.
As the score indicates, both offenses struggled, only managing to combine for 11 points in overtime. The Sixers won despite shooting just 37 percent from the field and making just two three pointers all night. The game was won, though, in the turnover battle, where Philadelphia picked up nine more takeaways than Boston, which helped them take 18 more shots as a team and overcome their lackluster shooting percentage.
The Celtics are now teetering on the edge of .500 as the teams complete the second night of a home-and-home on Saturday at the Garden in Boston.
