The Oklahoma City Thunder kept up their NBA-dominating ways on Thursday night. And the Thunder's 102-93 win over the Los Angeles Lakers featured both some flexing of muscle and a fine homecoming for Derek Fisher.
Thunder Vs. Lakers Final Score: Oklahoma City Pulls Away For 102-93 Win In Derek Fisher’s Homecoming
Russell Westbrook led the way for Oklahoma City with 32 points and six assists, and Kevin Durant had 21 points, 11 rebounds and five assists despite a cold 0-for-8 stretch, but Fisher sparked a run that swung the game. Fisher had all seven of his points during a second-quarter stretch that cut the Lakers' lead from double digits to just five points, and that kept OKC in the game just long enough for the good versions of Westbrook and Durant to show up in tandem.
Andrew Bynum led the Lakers with 25 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and had four blocks. But the Lakers shot poorly on the night, with no Laker posting a less impressive line than Kobe Bryant's 7-for-25, 21-point performance.
