Rudy Gay's hook shot with just under 14 seconds remaining proved to be the game-winner, and allowed the Memphis Grizzlies to steal a victory from the Philadelphia 76ers on the road, 103-100, on Monday night.

The man at the center of multiple trade rumors showed his worth, as Rudy Gay helped lift the Grizzlies past the Sixers on the road.

Gay had 26 points for the Grizzlies, who overcame 17 turnovers to outlast the Sixers. Gay also added seven rebounds and five assists on the evening.
Philadelphia (18-26) used hot shooting and stifling defense to pull ahead early and led 33-20 after the first quarter, but Memphis (29-15) responded with a second quarter that seemed to get flipped upside down. Memphis shot 78.8 percent from the field in the quarter, including 2-for-2 from the three-point line.
Both teams shot well from the field overall, with Memphis finishing at 54.8 percent and the Sixers shooting 54.2 percent. There were 11 lead changes and six ties in the contest.
Evan Turner led the Sixers with 27 points on 12-of-18 shooting and added seven assists.
