NBA Scores: Nuggets beat Pacers on stunning whistle, Grizzlies rally from 17 down

The Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies each could be feeling lucky about coming away with tight wins Monday night, with the Nuggets benefiting from a late foul call and the Grizzlies storming back from a major deficit to get a win.

The Nuggets (28-18) were up 12 late against the Indiana Pacers (26-19), but allowed Indiana to come back to tie, with Andre Iguodala getting fouled twice on breakaways in the game's closing minutes - and missed all four free throws. But he'd wind up on Paul George as the Pacers tried to pull ahead, getting a steal with .5 seconds left and drawing a more-than-questionable call as George defended him on a lob to the basket. Iguodala would hit one of two, and the Nuggets would win by the slimmest of margins, 102-101. Iguodala finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, while Danilo Gallinari led all scorers with 27.

Rudy Gay was the star despite trade rumors in Memphis, leading the Grizzlies (29-15) after they trailed big early against the 76ers (18-26). Gay's Grizzlies were down as much as 17, but outscored Philadelphia 37-21 in the second quarter to set up a tight second half of action. Gay would grab a rebound on a Jerryd Bayless miss and score with 13 seconds left to put his team ahead. He'd hit a pair of free throws to seal the 103-100 win. Marc Gasol had 27 while Bayless finished with 21 with Mike Conley injured.

The Kings (17-29) got their second tight win over the Wizards (11-32) in two weeks, snapping a four-game losing streak after Isaiah Thomas sank a lefty floater over Garrett Temple - who was playing for the first time all game - with a second remaining.

Andrew Bogut returned for the Warriors (27-17) after missing nearly half the season, scoring 12 points and grabbing eight boards, but David Lee was the star with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists to lead his team in all three categories. The Raptors (16-29) got a strong performance from Aaron Gray, who had a career-high 22 points along with 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough.

The Nets (27-18) led big early to hand the Magic (14-30) their sixth straight loss, led by Deron Williams' 20 points and nine assists. They're now just 1.5 games back of the Knicks in the Atlantic Division.

Jimmy Butler had a career-high 19 points for the Bulls (27-17), leading all scorers in a win over the Bobcats (11-33). Luol Deng was back in action after missing five games with a hamstring injury.
