Cleveland Cavaliers center Andrew Bynum has returned to his "game weight" and is getting closer to a return to the court, according to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal.
Andrew Bynum back at ‘game weight,’ according to report
The big man also recently participated in three-on-three at practice.

Bynum weighed over 300 pounds when he signed with the Cavs this offseason, but he has put in a lot of work during his rehab and is back down to the 285 pounds he was listed at during his final year with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bynum hasn’t played since the 2011-12 season due to recurring knee problems, however, there are positive signs that he’ll be ready to return to game action in the near future. The big man participated in three-on-three half-court scrimmages at Cavs practice on Wednesday, and he should be good to go for full contact five-on-five scrimmages sometime in the next week.
The Cavs are being extra cautious with Bynum, and he's not on an official timeline. A return by the Cavs' regular-season opener Oct. 30 against the Brooklyn Nets still seems like a bit of a long shot, but if there are no setbacks, Bynum should be back relatively soon.
