Despite getting nine three-pointers from Jeremy Lin, Houston blew a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter Wednesday night before losing in overtime. Lin's 34-point, 12-assist effort was one of the highlights of a wild, offensive-oriented game between two teams willing to run.
NBA scores: Clippers beat Thunder, 76ers top Rockets in OT
Tony Wroten and Jeremy Lin put on a show in Philadelphia on Wednesday night as the 76ers overcame a late deficit to beat the Rockets in overtime. In Los Angeles, Chris Paul led the Clippers over the Thunder in a Western Conference showdown.
However, that wasn't even the most historically significant performance of the night. That goes to Sixers guard Tony Wroten after putting up 18 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in his first career start:

Philly also got 36 points from James Anderson in the win. He had scored exactly 36 points in his previous four games, combined.
A nine-point halftime deficit was erased with a strong third quarter, giving Los Angeles a home win over the Thunder. Chris Paul had 14 points and 16 assists and seven boards for the Clippers, who outscored Oklahoma City 30-16 in the third quarter and scored the first eight points of the final period to take control of the game.
Kevin Durant had 33 points and 10 assists for the Thunder, who had a four-game win streak snapped on Wednesday night.
Late in the second quarter Serge Ibaka and Matt Barnes were involved in a scrap and both were ejected for their efforts. Barnes made sure to grab any loved ones on his way to the locker room.
Magic 94, Bucks 91
Led by Arron Afflalo, who scored 16 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter, Orlando improves to 4-1 at home with the win. On a night when most of his teammates were struggling, the shooting guard delivered big-time, adding to his star performance with eight rebounds and six assists.
Afflalo finished 8-of-11 from three-point range in the game, and you can watch all of the makes here:
O.J. Mayo led Milwaukee with 25 points and seven rebounds, while Caron Butler recorded 20 points and five rebounds before leaving the game with a shoulder injury.
Timberwolves 124, Cavaliers 95
Before explaining anything else that happened in Minnesota on Wednesday night, it's probably worth starting with what happened to Kyrie Irving in the first half:
With that one blow to the face, Irving had to leave the game. He ended up returning later on to finish with 20 points in 27 minutes, but the damage had been done by the end of the third quarter as Minnesota led, 108-76. Kevin Love powered the effort with 33 points, eight rebounds and six assists, but he got serious help from Corey Brewer (27 points) and Ricky Rubio (16 points, 16 assists).
Andrea Bargnani, the man tasked with temporarily filling the middle in New York, actually came through with 20 points and 11 rebounds in a surprisingly solid effort. Carmelo Anthony needed 25 shots to get his 25 points, but the volume shooting wasn't nearly as damaging on a night when New York rarely gave away the ball otherwise.
Atlanta got solid games from Jeff Teague (25 points, eight assists) and Al Horford (23 points, 11-of-14 shooting), but not remotely enough from the supporting cast.
Jazz 111, Pelicans 105
Utah trailed by as many as 16 points in this game before rallying for its first win of the game, the final team of the season to do so. With Derrick Favors, Gordon Hayward and Enes Kanter each contributing 20-plus points, it was a balanced effort from the Jazz's young stars.
The Pelicans struggled defensively, but got another huge performance from Anthony Davis with 29 points and 15 rebounds. In the midst of a breakout sophomore year, it's hard not to drool when the 6'10 big man is running the open court and making plays like this one:
New Orleans also got 19 points apiece from Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans in the loss.
Al Jefferson led all scorers with 22 points and 11 rebounds in his best performance of the season to-date. Jeff Green led the Celtics with 19 points, while Jordan Crawford added 16 points, six assists and five rebounds in the loss.
Raptors 103, Grizzlies 87
Toronto took advantage of a massive 39-17 advantage on free throw attempts to get a rare win at FedEx Forum on Wednesday night. Led by Rudy Gay's solid all-around effort -- 23 points, six rebounds, five steals, four assists, two blocks -- the Raptors were able to notch a win against his former team.

Beyond Mike Conley, who finished with 29 points on 12-of-19 shooting, the Grizzlies didn't fare well against Toronto's defense. The rest of the team shot just 37 percent from the field, though Marc Gasol managed 18 points and 10 rebounds thanks to a few trips to the line.
After trailing by as many as 19 points in the first half, the Wizards trimmed the lead down to three points, 60-57, midway through the third quarter, but wouldn’t get any closer from there. The Spurs subsequently went on a 29-7 run, quickly turning the game back into a lopsided beatdown.
Martell Webster led all scorers with a 21-point, 10-rebound, four-steal performance, but the Wizards shot 36 percent as a team. Tony Parker led San Antonio with 16 points, but he committed five turnovers and Tim Duncan delivered a dismal 1-of-12 shooting performance in 26 minutes.

Nuggets 111, Lakers 99
Getting a minutes boost with JaVale McGee sidelined, Timofey Mozgov delivered with 23 points and nine rebounds in the win Wednesday night. Combined with a 21-point, 13-rebound effort by Kenneth Faried, Denver's young bigs powered the team to its third victory.
With L.A. still searching for an identity early this season, the Nuggets took advantage by pounding inside with energy. In the end, Denver held a 60-32 advantage on points in the paint, including two on this alley-oop from Faried to J.J. Hickson:
