Thunder vs. Nuggets final score: The Thunder continue to roll in 105-93 win in Denver

Kevin Durant goes for 30 and Russell Westbrook nearly grabs a triple-double in the victory.

The early season Russell Westbrook injury was supposed to put the Thunder behind the eight-ball for much of the first month or two of the NBA calendar. But since his quick return, Oklahoma City has been as good as it gets.

The Thunder went into Denver and took care of the Nuggets in a relatively easy 105-93 win, and their quest to return to the top of the West continued in full force. Kevin Durant had 30 points and six rebounds, but it was all about Russell Westbrook.

Oklahoma City’s point guard went for 21 points, 13 boards and eight assists (and eight turnovers) as his team dominated the Nuggets in the rarefied air. The Thunder shot nearly 49 percent from the floor despite hitting just five of the team’s 22 three-point attempts, and outrebounded Denver, 53-43.

Denver got 20 points from J.J. Hickson and 17 from Ty Lawson in the loss.

The Thunder continue to roll, winning 15 of its last 16 games. The Thunder are back in full force, and it will only get better from here.
