Jeremy Lin took over in the fourth quarter and the Houston Rockets shocked the Memphis Grizzlies in a 100-92 comeback victory. Lin scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Rockets overcome a six-point deficit going into the final frame.

Dwight Howard had his worst game since joining the Rockets but the team still managed to come back late to beat the Grizzlies.


James Harden scored 27 points but made only two of his nine field goal attempts. His scoring came from the free-throw line, where he went 22-of-25. The team also overcame Dwight Howard's worst game since joining the team. Howard finished with two points and six rebounds, shooting 15 percent from the field while also dealing with foul trouble throughout the game. His five fouls forced him to play only 18 minutes and miss the entire fourth quarter while his team secured the victory.
Zach Randolph scored a team-high 23 points on 20 field goals for Memphis. Mike Conley had a tough game, making just three of his 13 attempts and finishing with nine points and six assists. Lin scored 18 points and was key in the Rockets outscoring Memphis 34-20 in the fourth quarter.
The Rockets won both games in their back-to-back, including a win on the road in San Antonio on Christmas Day. Memphis falls to 12-16, struggling without Marc Gasol and on the outside of the Western Conference playoffs.
