Hawks vs. Bucks final score: Hawks outlast Bucks 104-99

The Atlanta Hawks picked up a tight road victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, led by Al Horford’s all-around game.

The Atlanta Hawks remain in pursuit of the four seed in the Eastern Conference after picking up a 104-99 road victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Monta Ellis came alive in the final minutes of the game, making three three-point field goals in a two-minute span. Ellis poured in eleven points to give the Bucks the lead, but the Hawks managed to come back in the final minute and come away with a big win.

Atlanta was led by Al Horford's all-around game, as he scored 24 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out six assists. The Hawks had three starters with 15 or more points, with Horford, Devin Harris (16 points), and Josh Smith (23 points) giving Atlanta the scoring punch they needed to pull away from the Bucks after playing a tight game.

Brandon Jennings had a double-double, dishing 13 assists and scoring 12 points on 4-of-15 shooting. Ellis had a team-high 20 points while making all three of his three-pointers in the fourth quarter.

Atlanta is now only 1.5 games behind the fourth-seeded Brooklyn Nets after picking up the tough road win. The Hawks play Monday night against the Indiana Pacers in the second half of their road back-to-back. The Buck are off until Wednesday when they travel to Philadelphia to face the 76ers.
