Rockets vs. Warriors final score: Chandler Parsons leads Houston to 94-88 win

James Harden struggled shooting the ball, but Chandler Parsons picked up the slack in Houston’s win.

Chandler Parsons scored 26 points on 9 for 13 shooting to lead the Houston Rockets (34-29) to a 94-88 win over the Golden State Warriors (35-28) Friday. The win by Houston snapped Golden State's two-game winning streak.

Parsons' production was important because Houston's star, James Harden, struggled with his shot. Harden scored 20 points, but shot just 3 for 18. Jeremy Lin had 15 points and Carlos Delfino scored 12 off the bench. Houston attempted 35 free throws to just 20 for Golden State and out-scored the Warriors by 11 at the line.

Stephen Curry scored 24 points for the Warriors, Klay Thompson scored 22 and David Lee scored 16 points. The Warriors entered the fourth quarter with a three-point lead, but did not score for nearly seven minutes as Houston took control. The Rockets outscored Golden State 21-12 in the fourth.
