Former Atlanta Hawks point guard Mookie Blaylock is on life support after a car crash in Georgia's Clayton County on Friday afternoon, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The former Atlanta Hawks star is reportedly unresponsive at Atlanta Medical Center.

The 46-year old Blaylock was driving northbound on Tara Boulevard when he reportedly crossed into the southbound lane and collided straight on with another vehicle. Three people were injured in the accident. Blaylock is currently unresponsive at Atlanta Medical Center, while a female passenger in the second vehicle suffered internal bleeding.
Blaylock played in the NBA from 1989-2002, spending seven years in the middle of his career as a member of the Hawks. Blaylock was an All-Star in Atlanta in 1994 and was renowned as an ace defender, being named to the NBA All-Defensive first team twice and second team four times. Blaylock led the NBA in steals per game in 1997 and 1998.
Blaylock was selected with the 12th pick in the 1989 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets coming out of Oklahoma.
