NBA schedule: LeBron James’ Cavaliers go for two in a row against Anthony Davis’ Pelicans

Two of the league’s best players will share the court Monday night in Cleveland, as LeBron James’ Cavaliers host Anthony Davis’ Pelicans.

LeBron vs. The Brow. A possible Western Conference Finals preview in Los Angeles. Monday won’t be a busy night in the NBA, but it should be a fun one. Here are the games that you should be watching, and when and how to watch them.

THE APPETIZER

Cavaliers vs. Pelicans, 7 p.m. ET

Who would have thought that, two weeks into the season, the Cavaliers going for two wins in a row would be a thing? It's been a rough start to the season for LeBron and the Cavs, though they did look much better in their 110-101 win Friday night in Denver. How they do Monday night against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans could illustrate whether that was because something is starting to click for Cleveland, or because the Nuggets just aren't very good. Also, it should be awesome seeing LeBron and Davis on the court together.

The main course

Bulls vs. Pistons, 8 p.m. ET

It's a light main course on Monday night, so go heavy on the appetizer. The best part about this game will be watching how many jumpers Tom Thibodeau's defense gives Josh Smith and how many he actually takes. Seeing Stan Van Gundy's reaction to all this should be fun, too. Derrick Rose, as is seemingly always the case, is currently listed as questionable for this game. If he does play, though, it will be worth checking in to see how he looks.

The dessert

Clippers vs. Spurs 10:30 p.m. ET

San Antonio is currently 2-3, which means this might be one of the only times you’ll ever get to see a below-.500 Spurs team take the court. But as of now, there will be no veterans taking this contest off, meaning it should be a fun one. Blake Grffin against Tim Duncan is a great matchup, and an opportunity to watch two of the game’s best point guards (Chris Paul and Tony Parker) go head-to-head is always worth taking.
