Ryan Anderson cooked the Cavs in the first half

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans was built as a battle between Anthony Davis and LeBron James, but Ryan Anderson had other ideas. The Pelicans’ 26-year-old power forward destroyed Cleveland’s defense in the first half, hitting 8-of-13 shots for 23 points.

The Cavs have tried Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and Anderson Varejao on the Pelicans forward and nothing is working. Meanwhile, James has 10 points and Davis has eight points. The Pelicans lead by 56-51 at the half.
