Heat vs. Bobcats final score, NBA playoffs 2014: Miami sweeps Charlotte, advances to 2nd round
The Charlotte Bobcats end their 10-year history without a playoff win as the two-time champion Miami Heat swept them on their home court Monday night.

The Miami Heat didn't mess around in the second half of Monday night's game against the Charlotte Bobcats, and with a 109-98 win advanced to the second round in a 4-0 sweep.
As they have all series, the Bobcats made a game of it in the first half. Kemba Walker showed up big, dropping 29 points on the Heat, including a ridiculous alley-oop to himself off the backboard in the second quarter.
But Miami came back in the second half, dominating on defense and locking down on the Charlotte shooters. The Bobcats scored just 17 points in the third period to the Heat’s own 32, which set the table for the reigning champs to complete the sweep.
Charlotte made a small push down the stretch, but LeBron James wasn't having any of it. The superstar played 43 minutes to ensure a Heat victory on his way to scoring a game-high 31 points.
For the Bobcats, Walker's 29 points came on 11-of-15 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range. He also had five rebounds and five assists. Josh McRoberts finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds, adding five assists, a steal and a block. Gary Neal scored 16 points on 8-of-19 shooting off the bench.
Miami was led by James, whose 31 points came with nine assists, seven rebounds and three steals. Chris Bosh had 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting, adding eight rebounds and three assists. Dwyane Wade tallied 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting with three rebounds, two assists and a steal.
