Mark Jackson signs with ESPN, will call Heat-Pacers with Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy
Jackson returns to the broadcast booth after getting fired by the Golden State Warriors.

Former Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson is headed back to ESPN, agreeing to a multi-year deal to be a part of the network's lead NBA announcing team, according to the Associated Press.
Jackson will begin work immediately, reuniting with play-by-play commentator Mike Breen and analyst Jeff Van Gundy for ESPN's telecast of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers on Sunday. Jackson, Breen and Van Gundy last worked together in 2011 when they called their fifth consecutive NBA Finals.
Jackson left the television booth in 2011 when he was hired by Golden State. After a poor first season, Jackson led the Warriors to two straight postseason berths. But despite 51 wins this year, Jackson was fired due to an ongoing clash with the front office. Jackson has been replaced by Steve Kerr, another television analyst who had no head coaching experience prior to getting hired by Golden State.
